First, why did you remove the linking from this article? Secondly, and relatedly:
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 07:43, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Your rudeness back to haunt you
[edit]I left the message below, before thinking to check the history of your blank Talk page; I discovered that you'd blanked the above with the unpleasantly rude edit summary "don't care". Well, leaving aside your poor manners, now you know why you should care.
- If you explained your edits, you wouldn't have to demand that other editors do research to find out why you made them. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 21:08, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- Aside from the fact that blanking your User page is strongly deprecated, abusive edit summaries are likely to lead to your being blocked for incivility. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 21:41, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
I was about to let you know that I'd done it when I found your thank-you message. Not at all. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 21:41, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Edit summary
[edit]--Geniac 17:16, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Please note that it is strictly against Wikipedia guidelines to delete and/or edit other users' comments (assuming they are not vandalism). Consequently, I reverted your edit to Talk:Before I Self Destruct.--NPswimdude500 (Talk|Contribs) 22:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, sorry, when I did that I removed it thinking it won't make any sense if your comment was still there, so I just removed it, not realizing that I shouldn't have done it until you told me about it, I'll fix my edit right away. --- Efil4tselaer 22:42, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. I don't remember where I saw it (and I can't seem to find it now, but I remember there was some page that said when people use vulgarities, a line should be put through them. No idea where I saw it though....oh well...--NPswimdude500 (Talk|Contribs) 22:47, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
G-Unit vs. The Game
[edit]That would work. It seems like any ending is not in sight, so maybe it should just be merged with the rest of the beef info. --Ted87 03:04, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Your message
[edit]Most (all?) of those edits are content-dispute stuff rather than vandalism. Once you've tried to discuss the issues with him, if he doesn't respond adequately, you could make a start on the conflict-resolution process — perhaps raise the issue at the relevant WikiProjests to get other editors involved, place some of the main articles involved at RfC, etc. If that still doesn't get anywhere, and if other editors agree that his behaviour is disruptive, you could open an RfC on him. I know that all this is long and time-consuming, but he's not vandalising so far as I can tell, so it's really the only route. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 15:53, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- OK, some of that is, I think; the trouble is, for most of it, you have to know the things that you've mentioned in order to know what's going on. I know that this is a pain, but if you could list the edits and what's wrong with them, I'll be in a position to approach him. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 16:05, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
If there's already an article on the subject, there is no need to delete. The title can be used as a redirect. - Mgm|(talk) 10:09, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]Please, I know you edit the Curtis S.S.K. article, it is being constantly vandalized and anonymous users keep adding tracklistings even though they don't have any sources to prove them etc. Can you try and get this article to be semi-protected or something? -- Efil4tselaer 02:11, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'll post a request.--NPswimdude500 (Talk|Contribs) 02:17, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. Efil4tselaer 02:18, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I placed a request here. It would help if you edited the page and seconded the request.--NPswimdude500 (Talk|Contribs) 02:26, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- What do I say there? Efil4tselaer (talk · contribs) 02:28, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Just say that as a frequent editor, you recognize the constant vandalism and you're in support of protection--NPswimdude500 (Talk|Contribs) 02:31, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did here: User talk:87.186.32.37. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Funpika 00:22, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Leaving Wikipedia
[edit]Just in case someone wanted to leave me a message, I will inform him/her that I will not be editing Wikipedia anymore (except for some edits on random articles as an anonymous user), so I will not reply to your comments. Thank you. --- Efil4tselaer 19:56, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of 50 Cent vs. Cam'ron feud
[edit]An editor has nominated 50 Cent vs. Cam'ron feud, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/50 Cent vs. Cam'ron feud and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Jayden54Bot 18:57, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Why You Hate The Game, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
