Hey a Northumberland person! I was very impressed that someone turned up who knew the Sir Guy story! I've replied on the Dunstanburgh talk page. It's possible that the user who wrote most of the text (Jeandunston, aka my mum!) might still have the mag to which I referred, but I'm not sure. --Nevilley

Hey Nevilley, I've sent a reply to the Dunstanburgh talk page, and I'll see if I can dig out the story I knew of Guy the Seeker. It was on an old tape of Northumbrian legends I once had. Its a shame there's no way of separating the folklore page out into regional folklore, as there are some good Northumberland-specific stories, but I suppose if every region in every country across the globe did that it would get just a trifle large! - Egoinos
