Request reason:

I have just created this account so how can it possibly be a sockpuppet of this Chris19910? I see no evidence the account has just been blocked for no evidence and no reasoning other than being a sockpuppet. whatever a sockpuppet is.? I am new to wikipedia and have just turned my computer on. I will be talking to my internet provider to sort this out if i cant get the account unblocked. This is extreamly unfair.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. I have notified the blocking admin. Daniel Case (talk) 15:59, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Daniel as stated in the unblock request I know nothing of this user Chris19910 and have just had this IP address assigned to me so i think that it is a little unfair to have another users block. I await a response from the blocking admin. Electricdancer (talk) 16:06, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

That is absolute rubbish because i have been on holiday so can you tell me how my IP address which has just been assigned to me is used by user chris19910? I have just rung up my Internet provider and they have said that they will be ringing wikipedia because it is unacceptable that their customer is unable to use the site because as they quote "we have assigned you this IP address and has been used to cause havock on wikipedia we will contact the wikimedia coproparion directly at their headquarters in the USA" I find this very unfair as a block that is why i request unblock. If i am not unblocked i will ring my internet provider up again and will say that you have not been very co operative and they may take legal action against the wikipedia and the organisation if it is not sorted out. I hope this can be resolved.

Decline reason:

Unfortunately, you have chosen to make a legal threat. Under Wikipedia's strict policy, while it is not against the rules to take legal action against Wikipedia, you are now expected to refrain from editing here at Wikipedia until your legal action has concluded, or until you unconditionally withdraw your threat of legal action. If you really are taking legal action, your communication with Wikipedia should now go through your lawyer and Wikipedia's; if you are not, you may unconditionally withdraw any plans to take legal action. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:06, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:FisherQueen I have spoken to my Internet provider and they have agreed not to take legal action if I am unblocked and am able to contribute to the wikipedia. Electricdancer (talk) 17:10, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I understand completely. Since you have not been unblocked, and therefore are still taking legal action, you should have your lawyer contact Wikipedia's lawyer for any further communication you need to make. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:11, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Per the discussion with User:FisherQueen I have spoken to my Internet provider and they have agreed not to proceed with the legal action providing I am allowed to edit and contribute to the wikipedia. I am currently blocked which the Internet provider are concerned about because they have only just issued the Ip address to me. Thats why I request an unblock so I can contribute to the site.

Decline reason:

We don't work that way. Have your lawyer talk to our lawyer, like FisherQueen said. (And BTW your posting style is indeed oddly reminiscent of Chris19910 ... same run-on sentences, omitted capitalizations, and occasional misspellings. Funny, that) — Daniel Case (talk) 17:24, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So you spoke to the legal department of your isp between my message (17:06) and yours (17:10)? That's quite impressive; I've never managed to get even a customer service representative on the phone in less than five minutes, and you only needed four minutes to reach your isp's legal counsel and secure an agreement to take a legal action against Wikipedia. I am genuinely amazed. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:25, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well when you have got the direct dial yes you do manage to get through pretty quick. User:FisherQueen so yes i will get the legal department to talk to your lawyers. Electricdancer (talk) 17:29, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
