User talk:Elizabeth Crecente
Hi, Elizabeth. I'm sorry that I had to put your first article—one of such significance and pain—up for speedy deletion. The article didn't meet certain criteria needed for how articles are established on Wikipedia. If I can be of any assistance in creating the article according to Wiki policies, please leave me a message and I'll try to help. Kindly, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 07:22, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- On further investigation, I found there was already an article, so I created the correct article title, Jennifer's Hope and redirected it to Jennifer Ann Crecente. Please let me know if I can help further. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 08:11, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi, Elizabeth; I'm very sorry for your tragic loss. I will try to help you but I'm really tied up for the next few days, so my responses may be sporadic. You can leave messages here on your talk page and I will follow here. The first thing I need is for you to supply any reliable sources that mention the charity, such as newspaper and magazine articles. Both of the charities need to meet Wiki's requirements for notability for organizations in order to have an article or be mentioned. If you can post some sources here, I can help you include the information appropriately. But there's another issue; you and Jennifer's father are both subject to Wiki's policy on conflict of interest with respect to editing the articles. He should not be deleting your entries anyway; if this continues to be an issue, it can be handled on the conflict of interest noticeboard ... but one thing at a time. In the meantime, you should raise any issues on the talk page of her main article, at Talk:Jennifer Ann Crecente. Is the organization a registered 501(c)3?
