Edicei of America are not spammers and it's legit[edit]

Dear Ohnoitsjamie! Good morning! Thanks for your message. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I would like to clarify that I am not spammer (hate them) and I do not seek profit from editing the wikipedia pages about Spiritist books.

It may have come to your attention because this user I have now is new, but I have been Wikipedia contributor since long time ago (2004). I just didn't want to use my own user since I want to concentrate my efforts on this user just to the Spiritist Doctrine. I am sorry if I may have edited the wrong pages also.

Please allow me to introduce you to Edicei of America. We have the support and representation of the main organs of Unification of Spiritism in the globe, International Spiritist Council, and most conceptualized Spiritist Publishers/Editors in the world, EDICEI & FEB. Edicei of America is the official editor/publisher for Spiritist books and publications in the United States and many other countries (we do carry books in 11 different languages and ship worldwide). The reason we are adding those links to the "external links", on Spiritist related pages, is to allow the serious readers to know the official Spiritist literature. We did see other small, unofficial bookstores (and some of them buy books from us) under the external links so we decided to let the users know about us. If this wrong and against wikipedia rules we are sorry and will no longer do that.

Please let us now if we could have our own page like this publisher: HarperCollins and have the books page like this one: The_Alchemist_(novel). Thank you.

Have a wonderful day! --Emanuel Costa (talk) 14:37, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not free web-hosting. HarperCollins has a page because it easily meets our WP:CORP notability guidelines. It's unlikely that your organization meets those guidelines. Please also refer to WP:COI. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:14, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the quick response. We do not seek for free web-hosting. I am sorry but I don't follow you there. I will read further about wikipedia's modus operandi for literature and books.
As per our books. There are a lot of Brazilian Portuguese wikipedia pages about our books. For instance this is the list of one of our main authors books already on wikipedia and that we plan to translate to English, Spanish, French and Russian to begin. http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anexo:Lista_de_livros_psicografados_por_Chico_Xavier
Our authors are very well known in Brazil and respected for theirs work and reliability. This is the reason we are expanding our reach to other countries. Best Regards! --Emanuel Costa (talk) 15:45, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Each language Wikipedia operates independently, so having a page in the pt Wikipedia doesn't mean it automatically meets inclusion criteria in the en Wikipedia. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:40, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. I found a lot of information about that also. Thanks. Wikipedia:Translation
