SL Tamil personalities edits
[edit]Hello, We purposely leave at least the Sri Lankan section of prominent people red linked so as to remind people such as you and me that we have to do the hard work of writing about these people. By linking them with other websites, people assume that articles on these people are not needed. We need to increase content on Wikipedia on SL Tamils. We can only do it through hard work. No short cuts. It took me 1 whole day to create an article on Taraki Sivaram. So I know how time consuming it can be so please excuse my edits of your contributions. We will leave most articles redlinked in Sri Lanka section so someone will create a neutral encyclopedia articles on these people. Thanks RaveenS 18:18, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello
[edit]It is good to see, people such as you are interested in editing articles in Wikipedia. But looks like you are new to this and don’t know how to go about doing it. There are rules and regulations that we follow and this is a volunteer based project and as in academia, what is written can and will be unwritten or can be made better or worse with time. If you are prepared to edit articles in a sober, proper and unemotional manner so that we can achieve a neutral, balanced but sourced point of view, then I am more than willing to help you. So far, what you have tried to do looks like Vandalism that I attribute to your inexperience not intent. Good luck and great editing. Kanatonian (talk) 22:15, 16 September 2011 (UTC

[edit]Hello, I'm Obi2canibe. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Constitutional Council (Sri Lanka), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. obi2canibetalk contr 11:19, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Constitutional Council (Sri Lanka), you may be blocked from editing. obi2canibetalk contr 10:02, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Rajan Hoole, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. obi2canibetalk contr 21:20, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Rajan Hoole. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. People telling you stuff does not count as a reliable source. Please read WP:V and WP:RS before you continue. obi2canibetalk contr 16:56, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
