I am not clear on what about my contribution is not in compliance with the neutrality requirement? I have described a profession of which I am part of and have earned a doctoral degree in. The use of the term "mid-level" to describe a nurse practitioner is not only antiquated, but offensive. It has no place in this Wikipedia page and should be removed.

My wikipedia contribution for nurse practitioner is as follows:

A nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) trained to assess patient needs, order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, diagnose illness and disease, prescribe medication and formulate treatment plans. According to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, a nurse practitioner is educated at the masters or doctoral level to provide "primary, acute, chronic, and specialty care to patients of all ages and all walks of life". They are instrumental in the coordination of patient care, provide patients and families with health education, and are present in every health care setting. Since 2002, nurses have been ranked as the most trusted profession according to the Gallup Poll.

By reverting to your preferred version of the statement, without engaging in a discussion on the talk page of the Nurse practitioner article (Talk:Nurse practitioner) you have taken the first step of an edit war. Talk to your fellow editors on that page to figure out if the concerns you have about the current language can be addressed without raising countervailing concerns with other editors. If you read through past discussions on that page, you should see that some of the wording that concerns you has been hammered on before, so changing it should not be done without establishing, as best you can, a consensus for the change. — jmcgnh^{(talk) (contribs)} 04:53, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You are admitting bias by saying "a profession of which I am part of and have earned a doctoral degree in." Mid-level_practitioner has a whole article in Wikipedia. Just because you consider it offensive is not grounds for removal. Please talk on the Talk:Nurse practitioner and reach consensus before removing well sourced information. Also given that you already have bias, I would recommend that if you can not maintain an WP:NPOV please refrain from editing this article. So said The Great Wiki Lord. I understand you find the termMid-level practitioner offensive, but on wikipedia we cannot omit information because someone finds it offensive. Omitting this information will maker our readers less informed. You also cannot add WP:UNDUE weight on information like gallup poll, please also read what Wikipedia is not. I have tried to talk and reach a WP:Consensus you do not seem to be interested. Even Jim McG tried to guide you, PLEASE read the links we have given provided for you. So said The Great Wiki Lord.
