Droop-E

Hello,

You BLARed Droop-E following no contest to your merge proposal, yet you didn't add any content to E-40 § Personal life, is there a reason why? If content isn't added, the redirect isn't really valid. Thanks! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 03:28, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

The second paragraph of WP:BLAR states that the user who created the redirect does not necessarily have to add the content from the redirected article to the new target. Any other editor is welcome to do that themselves. Erpert blah, blah, blah... 04:15, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
I'm aware, but seeing as the article didn't have any glaring issues, I was curious as you didn't follow along with what you proposed. I've retargeted the redirect to just the article, not that section as it doesn't have any information. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 04:35, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

About deleting unsourced content

As it was discussed in this talk page, it doesn't seem to be the most constructive approach to unilaterally delete any content on sight when it is found in unsourced state (even if it is otherwise good content), and then asking other people to do the work of fixing the content and providing sources. How would people fix the content if they are unaware that the content is there due to erasure? The better approach would be to first attempt to correct the issue, or bring attention to the problem at hand of missing sources, and then proceed with the necessary content edit if there isn't reason objecting to it or if there is a consensus to go forward with that edit. 104.175.78.152 (talk) 22:51, 22 October 2023 (UTC)

So WP:RS isn't constructive? Erpert blah, blah, blah... 00:02, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
WP:JAGUAR I completely agree with this sentiment. IPs are people too 🇺🇸🦅 13:19, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
Which sentiment? Erpert blah, blah, blah... 04:17, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
The IP editor's sentiment. IPs are people too 🇺🇸🦅 06:32, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
So you don't think WP:RS is constructive either? What really isn't constructive is ignoring a rule simply because you don't like it. I think we're done here. Erpert blah, blah, blah... 07:30, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
