Welcome!

Hello, Everyeditcounts, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

If you would like to become an administrator, you should get a feel for how the requests for adminship process works. Wait until you've been editing at least three months, and at least 2,000 edits. There's no official minimum, but you're not likely to be approved with less than that. Focus on improving content and reverting vandalism. 129.98.212.50 21:40, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Hulbert Taft[edit]

A tag has been placed on Hulbert Taft, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. greenrd 00:56, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of AFL2[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on AFL2, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because AFL2 is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting AFL2, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. So you want to revert vandalism[edit]

You could join one of the following groups

  • Vandal Proof
  • Twinkle
  • Vandal Sniper

How do you join one of them? I really don't know. But you could ask one of our admins--Angel David 14:51, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

somebody, but not me, has been very naughty[edit]

Abusing multiple accounts: Mewtwowimmer

Decline reason: Checkuser verified sockpuppet of User:Kathywimmer, hence of User:Mewtwowimmer.

Given your edits, it is quite obvious that this too is an account of Mewtwowimmer. Your only saving grace is that you don't appear to have vandalized on this account. The Evil Spartan (talk) 17:24, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I am not Mewtwowimmer. Less than 2% of my edits are related to his. Everyeditcounts (talk) 17:34, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Look, I would be willing to support an unblock on your main account given some major conditions, but the lying cannot continue. I have an edit comparison tool, and the evidence is quite overwhelming. The Evil Spartan (talk) 17:38, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
