Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. JCutter (talk) 07:00, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello I picked this name, because it is a website that I enjoy. I use this name for everything I do. It is easy to remember, and I was going to try to make a page talking about the Fear of Commitment, and my name follows that. I will change it if need be, but I am not sure exactly why it is a violation.

Thank you for your reply. It may be a violation because it appears (to me) to be promotional and it matches the website that you repeatedly try to add to an article with a simlar topic. Such links may be considered spam, and any involvement with the site may be a conflict of interest. Regards. JCutter (talk) 07:28, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly as noted above. Do not continue to add links which imply a connection with your name, otherwise you will be blocked from editing. Nja247 07:31, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I have no connections with this site business wise. I am a member, but I make don't make a dime off of anything. I attempted to add this link to the Fear of Commitment wiki page, because I felt it was relevant. My roommate (which is a girl) has said she added the focconline's link to a TON of pages. How many a TON is I don't know. She did it because she is mad at me. Why is she mad at me? Because I won't commit to her! She has said she won't do it again. Thanks. I will change my name if it will allow me to add the focc link to the fear of commitment page, which I do believe is relevant.
