Marilyn Monroe

On Wikipedia a person must self-identify with a particular religion if that information is added to his/her article. Growing up in a particular religious environment is not evidence for the self-identified religion as an adult. If someone grows up an atheist but is now a Christian (see William J. Murray), do we put that person in the "Atheists" category?" MANY people grow up in a particular denomination (or lack thereof in Murray's case) but do not end up claiming that perspective when they are adults. This is a simple matter of following one of the very cornerstones of Wikipedia: "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth." The last religion with which Marilyn Monroe self-identified as an adult was Judaism, and that is sourced in the article. The article contains sufficient explanation of her religion growing up, but the infobox must reflect self-identified religion as an adult. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 16:22, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
