This user appears to have set up an account for the sole purpose - as their user name implies - of defaming Nina Power. Recommend deletion. Owenhatherley (talk) 14:52, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are mistaken. If there are defamatory remarks about Nina Power on her page, I assure you I did not author them. As for the name femipower, it is a moniker I have used for several years, long before I ever heard of Nina Power. The "power" has no relation to the surname Power, a connection I had not even noticed. Femipower (talk) 17:50, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please do not use blogs as sources in articles about living people. This violates Wikipedia's policy regarding biographies of living persons. Self-published sources such as blogs are never acceptable as sources about living people, unless written or published by the subject (see WP:BLPSPS). Thank you. Evil saltine (talk) 20:19, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

EvilSaltine no blogs are being used as "sources" about living people. No information about Nina Power is sourced to blogs, though other editors of this page have sourced claims to Power's own self-publications. The reactions of feminists and Marxists to Power's addressing criticism to them are quoted as facts in themselves. It is not the same as using a blog as a source. Just as quoting from Nina Power's blog to exhibit her writing is not the same as using it as a source to substantiate a fact about her. I have used no blogs as sources to substantiate factual claims about Power. Please cease your vandalism. Femipower (talk) 20:26, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
