Phuism
[edit]Phuism(fu-iz-uhm) is a set of subcultured guidelines and practices to a better spiritual living. It is a recent and modern practice developed in Thailand, and loosely incorporates Southeastern Asian cultural and religious views. Practicing Phuists make claims that proper discipline to the guidelines can result in beneficiaries to a better way of life physically, mentally, and spiritually. The ultimate goal of becoming a practicing Phuism is to completely achieve thuukgap, which is a Thai for True Personality
Phu and the foundation of Phuism
The foundation of Phuism is the compound element of Phu. Phu is an acronym for Peace\Happiness\Unity. It has been described as a state of mind one must always attempt to achieve and attain as much as possible. Phuists achieve Phu by practicing the act of jai cha which is a literal Thai translation for "Spiritual Cleanse".
