Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw you trying to make helpful additions [1][2] to the Skinny Bitch article. I reverted your edits because A) you entered the text in the wrong place (after the footnotes, instead of in the main body) and B) your claim that the radio show helped promote the book did not include a reference to a reliable source. Feel free to reinsert the text, if you can find such a source. Let me know if you need help editing the correct section of the article.--The Fat Man Who Never Came Back 17:12, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- I see you have attempted to edit the Skinny Bitch article again [3], but your text is still not quite ready to be included in the article. "I heard the entire conversation" is not considered a reliable source, and encyclopedia articles should not be written in the first person. We try not to engage in original research around here, which means you can't use yourself as a source to validate a certain statement. Instead you could, for example, reference a news article that reports on the events you describe. Please see WP:Attribution for more detail. Also, it's important to use a more formal tone when editing an article. You might want to see WP:TONE to learn more.--The Fat Man Who Never Came Back 18:09, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
