Deleted reference

[edit]

You reverted this edit in which the other editor claimed that the cited information was incorrect, and that no source could be show to verify the fact. You reverted the edit because it deleted a reference, but did you bother to check the reference to see if it actually verified the fact in question? Because it did not. (The fact in question is whether Phillipe Cunningham met his future spouse at Victory 44. The citation verified that Victory 44 was a popular restaurant, but not that Cunningham met his spouse there.) As a relatively new editor at Wikipedia, you should take care with your reversions to assure that they are appropriate. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:05, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dan, thanks for the heads-up. I'll be sure to sanity-check these types of reverts next time.

About the technical problem on my talk page

[edit]

Thanks a lot for the barnstar! I really appreciate it. I am quite sure that the display problem is coming from the "nowiki" that you added around the curly brackets. Cheers, Yakme (talk) 18:26, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! I think the syntax was acting up for the "nowiki" thing as well as me trying to insert a link to the article in the barnstar message. All good now!
Thanks again, FireFlyingly (talk) 18:44, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
