Editing wikipedia

[edit]

Here's a bit of additional reading material to get you started. I noticed your post on Steven Leung, which I reverted. Don't be disheartened. Wikipedia has a few policies regarding the addition of content which contributing editors should be aware of. Take a look at the following content which will help you get a feel for the standards to which Wikipedia aspires

  • wp:rs - information on identifying reliable sources for the content you wish to introduce
  • wp:v - the importance of verifiability. WP is essentially an organized collection of sources
  • wp:npov - keeping a neutral point of view, especially regarding personal opinions and tricky issues

Sorry if those are a bit dry and lengthy to start you off. Once you get going, wikipedia is a very fun place to work and collaborate, I promise :D. Would be more than happy to help with any questions you might have! You can reach me on my talk page
