Genus articles

Hi! Thanks for creating Charactopygus. It would be useful, though, if when creating genus articles you added a bit more information beyond a list of redlinks. The article is currently not actually very useful to the reader, as it is basically like a database entry. It doesn't have to be a lot – maybe just a quick description of the genus' distribution, or maybe some of its physical characteristics. Just so the article is less of a Wikipedia:Sub-stub.
