Thanks. I’m a bit of a technophobe so I’m not sure I will get it all. Can i cite legal journals if they are pay to read? Focfuseagle (talk) 10:50, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yep! Synorem (talk) 10:52, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Since you're editing a WP:BLP at present, I recommend you refer to refer to WP:BLPSOURCES and WP:BLPPRIMARY. You probably want to give all of the WP:BLP policy a read. The question of whether you could cite a legal journal or not would boil down to whether the specific articles you had in mind were primary sources or secondary sources (for BLPs anyway) and it doesn't matter if its pay to read or not because anyone who makes a moderate amount of edits has access to most journals through The Wikipedia Library. Even if we don't have access, as long as it's a reliable source you can use it. TarnishedPathtalk 10:57, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your advice. I actually wish to write on some notable court cases across the commonwealth. Focfuseagle (talk) 11:30, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Good luck. TarnishedPathtalk 11:37, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Chris Masters (writer), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 08:21, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
