My last edit was to a template parameter in the article; making the edit didn't change any of the user-visible content, though it did make the template parameter more accurate. The template parameter change was in the direction of a positive view of the subject, with an objective basis, since I changed the default (no links to the article) to the true situation (few links -- only one, at the time of editing.)
I've already said on the article Talk page I won't be editing the article per se, but I see no need to tag myself as having a conflict of interest in the usual terms of supporting a business because I'm paid to do so, or supporting friends -- none of you guys are my friends -- or even being a customer of Thumbsat Inc. (I'm not.)
If there's a COI issue, it has a lot more to do with an unambiguous legal threat I received from a participant in ThumbSat, which I hoped wouldn't compromise my objectivity as an editor of the article; realistically, though, it's unlikely that I can remain objective when I'm under a threat like that, no matter how hollow it might be. While I'm here: please make sure that the person in question is aware of WP:THREAT policy, should he decide to weigh in here at Wikipedia himself. It won't be taken lightly here, if he engages in that kind of behavior. It would also become a matter of public record on Wikipedia, which rarely erases anything permanently. I'm sure Thumbsat Inc can ill afford that kind of self-inflicted negative publicity. Yakushima (talk) 08:29, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
