Hi Fred
[edit]We started at the same time at Wikipaedia. Keep up the editing. I just signed up at new Simple English en but if you want username, that is ok. Fred.e 19:27, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, it was not very clear. Ironically not 'simple'.
- I originally requested username: 'Fred' but could not, because you already had 'FreD'.
- No problem there, you had it first. You also use FreD at 'sister wikis'.
- I joined a new (10 000+ articles) wiki simple.wikipedia.org
- It is a simple enlish language wikipaedia.
- I joined as username: Fred
- This could be a problem if you join.
- I am offering you the username, if you want it.
- A lot of people have difficulty understanding australians! Regards Fred.e 11:37, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
P.s. You actually started on wikipaedia long before me. I just checked your contributions. Fred
- Ok ! That's clear now ! Of course, you can keep the username you choose on 'simple'. If on day i'll join this wiki, i'll choose another nick, that's not important for me. Greetings from France. FreD 11:00, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for reply. I can unwatch your page now. Stay Fred! Here is another Fred P.S. Nickname is usual usage.Fred
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Max Leognany, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Max Leognany is a foreign language article that was copied and pasted from another Wikimedia project, or was transwikied out to another project (CSD A2).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Max Leognany, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 15:56, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called FreD. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name FreD~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
