A tag has been placed on Tricktionary of Inline Roller Skating Tricks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Paxsimius (talk) 01:35, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy declined; text was taken directly from Roller skating and does not meet criteria for a speedy delete. Jeepday (talk) 01:44, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. I was unaware it was from another article; was mostly concerned that it was something that probably belonged somewhere else. I kind of figured if I overstepped someone would say something. Paxsimius (talk) 03:24, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Improve article[edit]

I removed this edit Diff, the content is more appropriate for the articles talk page Talk:Tricktionary of Inline Roller Skating Tricks rather then the main article space.

Adressing your comments, -

  • This article is notable for defining dozens of terms referring to roller skating tricks. If someone searches for Makio, Fishbrain, etc. he will find it here. - per Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Notability it is up to the person who wants to keep the content to show references. You can learn more about references at Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2008-02-04/Tutorial
  • Sorry, don't know how to attach its category. Roller skating -- Aggressive - No worries someone will come along in the next couple of days and take care of the categories.
  • This article was included in 'roller Skating' where it clearly was too in-depth for that article and deserves its own page. references and other info will come in time. - Partially agree with you, it was to much for the article where it was, but per WP:BURDEN "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material" so we are depending on you to find and post the references.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any help, leave a note on my talk page Jeepday (talk) 02:25, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't add or restore, just moved material out of an inappropriate location. I personally don't care if it stays or goes, I just didn't want to take it upon myself to delete it from Wikipedia altogether.

AfD nomination of Rancho Cascades[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Rancho Cascades. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rancho Cascades. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Billie Eilish, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Patrick O'Connell. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert for Covid-29[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in COVID-19, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

January 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you recently removed content from Pierre Kory without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also seems to be an attempt to hide the fact that the source calls it inaccurate Doug Weller talk 20:27, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that.
