Arizona

Arizona sign drawings is found here. Last change of state shields is Feb. 2005 is the effective dates meaning state shields in Arizona is mandatory. California definitely uses state shields in sign drawing and the effective date is September 2006. I think the nuetral shields in Oklahoma is old, only ones after 2006 is state shields. Missouri uses state shields in state document however alot of state names of I-35/I-44/I-64 ones is missing--Freewayguy (Meet) 20:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

AZDOT Drawings

This shows sign drwainings. This was effective since Feb. 2005, meaning Arizona still now uses state shields. I think New mexico has the same thing.--Freewayguy (Meet) 00:34, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

California State Route 162

I finished reconstructing the list. Have a look at it. --PhATxPnOY916 (talk to me) 09:32, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

West Virginia

You want the Standard Drawings (12 MB PDF file). If you go to Page 32, you'll find the shields; they do not have state-name shields, so WVDOT must not be making them anymore. As for Arkansas, I'm not sure. They don't seem to have any drawings up anywhere. You might be interested in commons:Category:Road signs in Arkansas which shows that Arkansas seems to have a lot of both types.—Scott5114 [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 21:22, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I suppose it could be considered one. I wouldn't really worry about state vs. neutral shields. It may be interesting to roadgeeks but the average readership probably doesn't notice. —Scott5114 [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 21:41, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Reply to I-210

Well, you're right about the fact that SR 210 will become I-210 in the future, but do you know when? I'm guessing somewhere after the year 2010, and I still believe that the SR 210 article should be left up. But I'll leave it alone for now, and we'll see if things will fall into place in the future. ^_^ AL2TB ^_^ 23:31, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I thought was sooner than that because the unconstruct section of SR 210 was open in July 24, 2007. I was on the I-210 on August 2007 because the Golden State (5 Frwy) was jam so we took the 210 to the SR 2 South then got back to the 5 then took the I-10 East to land at Rosemead, Califonria.--Freewayguy (Meet) 23:35, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I forgot the exact date, but I thought it was after 2010. Please correct me if I'm wrong. ^_^ AL2TB ^_^ 00:13, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Oregon

They post another two state shields in Oregon over the summer.--Freewayguy (Meet) 00:07, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

SR 57

No, 1964 is when the number was assigned, and presumably marked along the old route (Brea Boulevard and Brea Canyon Road). [1] shows this pre-renumbering and [2] shows the renumbering. --NE2 00:17, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Or this freeway might be originally an arterial. I saw them on that site too. Also the Hwy 90 was also propose extension to from the I-110 to SR 39 This is not ever going to be built. The 605 I thought is made in 1964. I live in Southern California so I know alot. I been on the 57 and the 605 many times.--Freewayguy (Meet) 00:35, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

No, I'm not in California. I just started by finding as much as I could about the history of the highways, and let it fall into place. --NE2 00:41, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

To become an adminstrator

What is the school usually about. I'm interest on become and admin one day so I can block users, delete pages, and contribs, protect and semi-protect pages. Where in Southern California to attend school? I'm form South Orange County, California.--Freewayguy (Meet) 19:45, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello Freewayguy. I should clarify what the new admin school is - it's simply a few pages to help new admins test their tools so they don't do it on the main pages, we haven't actually got a school. If you are considering becoming an admin, might I suggest admin coaching? You might find that benificial, and the good news is, you can do it safely from your own home ;-) Ryan Postlethwaite 22:42, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

LA Orange Conty Frwy wars

I went on this site, yes I hear many rumours.Freewayguy (Meet) 22:02, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Does not taste like they will ever extend the I-710 north -I dont think so. This cause too many problems to Rosemead, esp. many cities in North-Eastern LA areas.--Freewayguy (Meet) 02:04, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

This Orange County site shows about SR 57 Faculty meeting on April 19, 2005. Most Orange County commitees vote against the 57 extension, therefore it is not going to be built.--Freewayguy (meet) 02:13, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
