Harnackia

Thanks for removing that. I've never even heard of that genus so 2011 me (when the addition was made) must have been very confused, and meant to add it to the Hasteola page instead. Chickenflicker (talk) 17:20, 10 February 2014 (UTC)

Cold hardy hibiscus

On August 23, 2012, I photographed a hardy hibiscus bush in south central Vermont and I may be off a little. Especially when I see a variant that don't have the usual heart-shaped tooth-edged leaves. ;)

The H. moscheutos and H. syriacus are rather hard to tell apart... So I may have to redo some hibiscus photos.

It definitely looks like a different kind than the one I planted in my yard on August 10, 2013. I have to see how it holds up, I'm in zone 5.
