April 2019

[edit]

Hello again GHN, Your recent edit restored the unsourced birth date I had just removed from the Manuel Pérez García article. You did not supply a source. You should not restore challenged content without providing an in-line citation that supports it, See WP:BURDEN You also removed a citation needed tag without supplying a citation. You should not remove a maintenance tag without addressing the issue. See WP:MTR. Wikipedia content must be based on published sources. Just to day I left you a message about your apparent conflict of interest and yet you continue to edit the article directly instead of following the guidelines. Why? In any case I've reverted that recent edit. I suggest you to read and understand the guidelines before editing further. You may find it helpful to restore the other messages you've been left on this page to aid you in finding the guidelines to review. Gab4gab (talk) 17:13, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gab4gab, I wrote you in your talk. I have added the citations (UCBerkeley and ERC/Euraxess which you removed when I updated the new link) and other issues, I am not expert with the system and please have patience, I am new with the Wikipedia. I have many questions, I saw no birthday but I can add in the section of birthday, birthplace or I can't do? Thanks

Hello again GHN, You have not answered my question and now I have more questions. Your edit history shows you have been editing for over two years. Why do you say you are new to Wikipedia? Why have you not addressed your conflict of interest which warned I you about on April 17? Are you editing Wikipedia as part of your job? A birth date requires a reliable published source. You should not add anything to the article directly due to your conflict of interest. Gab4gab (talk) 14:00, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gab4gab, please check the record, my last editing was "23:38, 18 January 2017" which means I haven't logged in till last month ago‎, why now? because I am trying to update and fix the issues but it seems that I get scolded from you because I am getting all wrong. About your questions: 1- there is not a conflict of interest, not for my own personal or something like that; 2- I am not editing Wikipedia as part of my job, I haven't been logged long time ago till last month ago. I asked you for help but I am not getting help, I am trying to understand since I am not a computer scientist, but that's ok. I won't make any change unless updating new informations but before if I may ask you how to edit or something like that if you have time. I hope this situation is clear. Thank you and best wishes.

You wrote to me saying "Hello, why did you remove again the links? Prof. Perez Garcia asked me why the links aren't in his biography, so I re-added again and now no links. Those links were ordered by him (Manuel Perez Garcia)." This clearly shows that you have an external relationship with Perez Garcia and in fact you say he ordered the links I had removed. You know Manuel Garcia. You only edit his biography article or about him in other articles. He tells you what he wants in his biography. Conflict of interest (COI) editing involves contributing to Wikipedia about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships. How do you not have a conflict?
