Edit warring on JESC 2015

[edit]

What's going on over here? Have you already realized that [1] for Junior Eurovision 2015? Why do you always have to remove my edits? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RebeccaTheMegaAwesome (talkcontribs) 15:59, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Always"? I've only edited it once (Special:Contributions/GarethTJennings) I changed it because the numbers were inconsistant.GarethTJennings (talk) 16:13, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Caution. RebeccaTheMegaAwesome is a clear sockpuppet and block evader of RebeccaTheAwesomeXD. Wes Mouse | T@lk 19:51, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

MAP for FIFA world cup qualification

[edit]

Can you please revert the map for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification, based on the discussions and comments in its Talk Page and at the map's Talk Page? Matilda Maniac (talk) 03:11, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

CANCEL that request, as the AFC have now confirmed confirmed that Indonesia have been excluded from the qualifying competition, and all matches involving them have been cancelled.[2] Matilda Maniac (talk) 13:40, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stats and timestamps

[edit]

Hi. When updating stats please also update the date to let readers know when it was updated, otherwise it is easy for others to add same stats again. After This edit it said "as of match(es) played on 31 March 2015" which is completely false and had to be corrected in this edit. Please keep this in mind. Qed237 (talk) 21:13, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for forgetting the dates. It won't happen again. GarethTJennings (talk) 21:52, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
A new reminder after this edit. I know it can be easy to forget, but please try and remember this. Qed237 (talk) 21:45, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I am pretty bad at forgetting the dates. I might need to put a post-it note about it on my moniter at this rate ._. GarethTJennings (talk) 22:13, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bulgaria on map "File:UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers Map.png"

[edit]

Hello, GarethTJennings.

Please, move Bulgaria from "Country has failed to qualify" to "Country can qualify", because 18 September 2015 Croatia -1 point. GAV80 (talk) 06:52, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Map Colours

[edit]

There is absolutely no need for two different colours to signify a team cannot qualify. Can you please stop adding the yellow since it is completely redundant. If a team is eliminated on 13th then they should be coloured red for cannot qualify. Having games to play are irrelevant.

Can you also remove Gibraltar from the map since you appear to be the person who added them. This is the FIFA map so they should not be on it. Zirath (talk) 15:27, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

See Talk:2018 FIFA World Cup qualification#Map Colours, and try not to be so bossy. It's rude. GarethTJennings (talk) 15:30, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hong Kong status in AFC WCQ round 2

[edit]

Thanks for catching that. I realized after my edit that it was a possibility that they might not be able to reach top-4 2nd-placed teams, but you swooped in before I could check. They can't catch the other top-4 teams either, so you're right, HKG are eliminated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PsyMar (talkcontribs) 18:25, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, I have found it quite confusing to figure out whether or not a country is eliminated! GarethTJennings (talk) 18:42, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kosovo on maps

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for responding here. In other UEFA-realated articles, there are a few other maps that likewise require the addition of Kosovo, including this one, this one, this one, this one and this one.

And this map, apart from lacking Kosovo, also lacks Gibraltar.

There's also another mistake with this map: Albania never was part of Yugoslavia, so it shouldn't be marked with a dot.

You seem to be good at editing maps, could you please fix these maps? --Theurgist (talk) 15:39, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Theurgist, I have added Kosovo (and Gibraltar) on all of these maps. It did not occur to me earlier, so thank you again for the reminder. GarethTJennings (talk) 18:23, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
(I removed a duplicate link from my previous post.)
Thanks. But I had overlooked that this map also lacks Gibraltar actually.
This one lacks Gibraltar too, and, unlike other UEFA maps, seems to show microstates in their actual sizes so that Andorra, Liechtenstein and Malta are hardly visible (which I'm not sure is a problem per se, but other UEFA maps usually show them enlarged), while San Marino is completely invisible.
And here, there's still no Kosovo nor Gibraltar.
I hope you'll take care. --Theurgist (talk) 16:41, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Theurgist, I've taken care of all of these now. Thanks again! :) GarethTJennings (talk) 18:10, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
