I just edited an article and I never clicked on Preview but all my stuff is deleted! How do I get it Back? 8:49, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- Which article? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 00:55, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Was the article C. Thomas Howell? Mm40 (talk | guestbook | contribs) 01:20, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, it appears as if someone removed your material. I'll try to put it back in. How long ago did you make the lost edits? Today? Mm40 (talk | guestbook | contribs) 01:49, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Someone else fixed it User:TenPoundHammer. The problem was that you put <ref> but you didn't put </ref>. That was interpreted as the entire article after the <ref> being part of the reference. By the way, after you add comments on talk pages, just add ~~~~. This will make your signature and the time. Have a good day, and I'll answer any other questions you have. - I did (or more accurately, User:TenPoundHammer did) fix your article. Look at it now. Mm40 (talk | guestbook | contribs) 02:08, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Your article, C. Thomas Howell is fixed. Look at it now and it should be good. Mm40 (talk | guestbook | contribs) 02:14, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

- You just forgot to close the table with |}.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 23:48, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well you known at the very beginning of a table there are these 2 symbols "{|", think of them like book ends, your going to need 2 of them, one at the begining of the table like "{|" and another at the end of the table like "|}", otherwise there will be no table or the table will spill over into the rest of the article.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 00:17, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
{{helpme}} I tried fixing C. Thomas Howell, but I don't know how the list of films came below external links.Ginnina (talk) 16:34, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Ginnina

Proposed deletion of Van Pels family
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Van Pels family, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? HrafnTalkStalk 19:04, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Your edits to Brat Pack (movies)
[edit]Hi Ginnina. I reverted your edits to this article because they removed accurate and sourced information. If you read the New York magazine article by Blum, you will see that he indeed cites Taps as the first Brat Pack movie. Also, since by some standards 1990 would technically be the last year in the decade known as the 1980s (1981 to 1990), I went ahead and restored those as well. They seemed to be the very last two collaborations of any sort. I would support their deletion if you feel strongly they shouldn't be included. Maher-shalal-hashbaz (talk) 16:49, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your note on my talk page. I don't understand your point at all. The section is about filmography, i.e. the list of films considered to be Brat Pack films. The fact that the article that coined the phrase "brat pack" cites Taps is significant and should be included. Perhaps rewording the following sentence will help make that clear. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
