Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Girasol10002, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Claudia Llosa

[edit]

Minor changes necessary.

  • Excellent source, this draft is a good start.
  • In the Awards and Nominations section, you should list all the awards that Llosa has won or been nominated for, including all the awards that are listed on the existing page. This section helps establish Llosa as notable.
  • It's not clear how you will incorporate your new sentences into the existing page. Make sure that you don't duplicate information and that you weave your words into the ones there already. You can also edit the existing sentences on the page to make them stronger.
  • Add a more substantive lead section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chronophoto (talkcontribs) 21:44, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I recommend revising the section headings. Early Life and Education is good, but then should be "Career" (which may include brief descriptions of her films, as well as her book, etc.). "Filmography" should be only a list of films.
  • Can you provide more context for the quote from Llosa that you include? Right now I don't really understand it.
  • Expand the discussion of the representation of Indigenous communities and write the author of the article into the body of the article. "According to film scholar Sarah Barrows..."
