His involvement in the family business has accelerated growth of the Group, initiated new ventures and enhanced trust of brand GM group. In the past two decades his association with group companies has led to increased revenues, new business associations and maturity of corporate relations. He has started a lot of companies and industries and is the secretary of GM Group of Companies, which was founded by his father Late Sri Mallikarjunappa (Former Member of Parliament). GM GROUP started with just a =n engineering college and arecanut trading, Now with full hardwork and perseverence Gm lingaraju has started many other business like GM SUGARS AND ENERGY LTD., GM AGRO AND BEVERAGES PVT. LTD., GEM LABORATORIES PVT. LTD., SRISHYLA EDUCATIONAL TRUST, PAN NAGARBHAVI HOSPITALS PVT. LTD. All of these companies were founded by GM Linagaraju himself. He expanded his fathers Businesses and fullfilled his and his father's dream of having a very good educational trust. Now GM Lingaraju has established 4 other institutions under Srishyla Educational trust, i.e.,
