Question from Stats&Data (02:10, 4 September 2024)

Some people are removing my work from various wikipedia page without a resson --Stats&Data (talk) 02:11, 4 September 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Stats&Data - the material you are adding is not supported by reliable sources. Material which one creates and publishes oneself cannot be considered reliable under Wikipedia policy. The best thing is to use sources which are independent of yourself and which have been published in reliable publications (academic press, peer-review journals, newspapers of record etc). Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 02:32, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
So what can I do to make them reliable and also their more similar creators on same page but no one edit them Stats&Data (talk) 02:35, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
@Stats&Data - I'm not sure I can answer your question. You are posting material which you have created from a site which is self-published - this means the material cannot be considered reliable. Also, in general, the reason why editors are discouraged from posting matieral they themselves have written or published is that there is a conflict of interest. I'd encourage you strongly to work with material which is independent from you. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 02:55, 4 September 2024 (UTC)

Question from SarahHunnings24 on Draft:Currensea (15:45, 5 September 2024)

Hello, Could you tell me whether these sources are appropriate for a private company page: --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 15:45, 5 September 2024 (UTC)

Question from SarahHunnings24 on Draft:Currensea (15:49, 5 September 2024)

Hello, I was wondering whether these secondary sources are appropriate for a private limited company wiki page: Which, Finextra, Fintech Finance, City AM, Electronic Payments International, Yahoo Finance and Pymnts. --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 15:49, 5 September 2024 (UTC)

Hi @SarahHunnings24: Other than Yahoo! Finance, they all appear more marketing/PR than reliable sources. I would suggest asking a question here: Wikipedia_talk:Reliable_sources/Perennial_sources. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 22:43, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Question from Anerva (18:44, 8 September 2024)

Hi, I would like to create a weekepedia page for my company nassaudentalpc --Anerva (talk) 18:44, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Anerva - Wikipedia discourages editors from creating materials where they have an interest. I have left a set of links on your talk page that help to understand processes for article editing and creation. Please have a look at those and feel free to come back to me with any questions. Women in Green's "Around the World in 31 Days" GA Editathon – October 2024

Hello Goldsztajn:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2024!

Running from October 1 to 31, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

We hope to see you there!
