Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. The addition i made to the page was in good faith, and i wasn't aware that i had broken any rules - i have only just opened an account with Wikipedia and was'nt aware of of rules regarding username and links. Gr8 Hats (talk) 15:43, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can't make head or tails of how to change my username. Can you you provide an explanation (in layman's terms), so i can put this right, please?

Can you please respond to my query as to how i fix the reason for you blocking my account?

As i stated previously, perhaps you didn't bother to read it fully. I am completely new to wikipedia and wasn't aware that i was breaking any rules.

Your response is really very rude. I was not intentionally spamming, i had looked at some Youtube videos and they showed that it was possible to do this, and they failed to mention that it was not permitted, had they done so, i wouldn't have made the edits.

I am not hungry to get back spamming, as you rudely put it. Unlike you, i don't spend my life on the internet. You are as i suspected. Someone who's got a bit of power and it's gone to your head.
