I don't think you SHOULD have changed the Descent. There are hundreds of like mentions of movies all over Wikipedia. Saying something is well-reviewed is not POV. You have a good night as well. Sensorium 04:37, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hey, buddy.

[edit]

Could you pretty please with sugar on top leave DropDeadGorgias's edits alone? It's a great compromise that makes everyone happy. I'm willing to live with it if you are. Ok? dposse 17:33, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, would you please stop attacking people with the whole "corporate spin" thing? It sounds alot like something Lou Dobbs would say, and it just isn't nice. Ok? dposse 17:38, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hello? anyone home? seriously, talk to me. dposse 18:02, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hey, everyone...

[edit]

Can people who visit my page PLEASE stop vandalizing my page? Just because you may not be happy with some of my contributions doesn't mean that you should attack this page and try to get me in trouble! I'm still new here so I will try to figure out a way to revert this page. But in the meanwhile, if it happens again, then I will report you to the admins. The only problem I can see with that is we'll need to ask dposse permission to make these changes. He might not allow it, seriously. He made it clear that all contributions need to go through him otherwise, according to him, we are "not giving him enough time to do his magic" and, according to him, "we will be suppressing his artistic expression." I don't know how any of us can meaningfully and enjoyably contribute to the SOAP wiki page as long as dposse plans to hijack the page for his own personal use.Guerillafilm 20:55, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

That's a clear violation of the no personal attacks policy. You are completely out of line to make those comments in a thread that didn't involve dposse in any way, shape, or form. | Mr. Darcy talk 00:46, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The solution is to not do it again. If dposse does something to that article that you think is improper, then deal with that action specifically (edit the page further, or report him if he violates a policy). But stop attacking dposse personally, and above all don't do it in a discussion that doesn't involve him at all. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have. | Mr. Darcy talk 01:21, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You can't control what other users do - you can only control your own actions. If you behave in a mature and responsible manner, then you'll be a productive member of the community. I also think you need to work on your willingness to compromise; you get too hung up on having an article express your particular point of view on things, and that's a major contributing factor to edit wars. If another user is harassing you, then go ahead and report him, but remember that in most instances it takes two to tango, and you are not without blame in the SoaP article controversy. | Mr. Darcy talk 23:38, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Guerillafilm/Chocolateboy feud

[edit]

Let me introduce myself. My name is Jes. Nice to meet ya.

Cutting to chase, did you place a banner on my usertalk? Have you been emailing others, telling them you are me? W/O being blunt, I noticed you have documented history of sockpuppetry? Not my place to judge, but my worry is w/ my name is now coming up in your feud w/ Chocolateboy. Contrib.history on SoaP article documents flamewar b/t you & Chocolateboy.

I do not know you, Guerillafilm, or the user w/handlename Chocolateboy. Did you tell an administrator that I am impersonating you? The nasty gram on my userpage reads suspected that this user (me) might be a sock puppet or impersonator of Guerillafilm.

Christsake, please do not involve me in your schoolyard fight w/ Chocolateboy.

Next stop, report incident w/ admin.Jessicarowls 22:31, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
