Mamod steam stuff
Hi! I think you know more about the Mamod live steam stuff than I do. How about creating an article about the company? Just click on this red Mamod link, and start writing... ;-) Regards, --Janke | Talk 03:48:27, 2005-08-31 (UTC)
Merge?
Since we both seem to work on the same subject, how about merging Grand scale and Miniature Railways into one article, and make the other a redirect? (To me, it doesn't matter which is which, basically they are the same thing.) Care to do it, or shall I ? --Janke | Talk 18:58, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
- It makes a lot of sense to merge these. Please go ahead and take a first pass. I was intending adding to the Miniature Railways page in the next few days. I'd be very happy to work on a merged version. Gwernol 21:15, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
- Done. Please have a look, feel free to edit, and if possible, do something about those redlinks... ;-) --Janke | Talk 11:42, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
Sources for Minimum gauge railways
Hello, good work on Minimum gauge railways, and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. From what websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Minimum gauge railways? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? You can simply add links, or see WP:CITET if you wish to review some of the different citation methods. Thanks! BRIAN0918 23:56, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
- Brian, the current page is basically written from personal knowledge of miniature railways. As I expand it out I will absolutely start adding references as I use them. Thanks for the links to the Wikipedia citation guidelines, these are very helpful. Gwernol 16:01, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for your eagle eyed corrections on the steam engine article, my enthusiasm exceeds my spelling abilities Emoscopes Talk 22:56, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Sorry; we must've hit submit at the same time; I didn't intend to undo your edit. On the other hand, the herpes pic in your revision is a little than typical. OhNoitsJamieTalk 01:34, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
- Jamie, no worries, youre revert was the better one anyway, so I'm glad it won out. Good call on reverting back to before the whole mess started. I've asked for an admin to ban our friend who keeps blanking the images, but I wouldn't be surprised if they decide against as this is an AOL account. Gwernol 01:39, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Re: Thanks
No problem, BTW how do you enter all the information into the Edit Summary so quickly? Cheers! --Scaife (Talk) Don't forget Hanlon's Razor 18:15, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

Christopher Newport Article
Thanks for keeping a look out for the CNU article, but that editorial part of the article is not well written and is mostly opinion. I think it would be better without it.
