Speedy deletion of Gregg Brown
[edit]A tag has been placed on Gregg Brown requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. SchfiftyThree 03:27, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

New JTT photo
[edit]Where did you find it, and what on earth makes you think it might be in the public domain? -- Zsero (talk) 01:28, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Huh? You just found it on the web and decided it might be free to copy? It's clearly a professional shot, why would you think the photographer decided to give up their copyright and let anybody use it? No. -- Zsero (talk) 01:40, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Never mind who I am. You found a professional shot on a web site. The page does not say anything implying that anyone has permission to copy it. And it's a site that allows anyone to upload just about anything they like; almost all the photos there are clear copyright violations - they say openly that they're taken from TV and film! So why would you even think it would be OK to copy it? -- Zsero (talk) 02:04, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
I am an administrator here, if that matters, and Zsero is correct. The image was a copyright violation and I have deleted it. Please do not upload any other pictures unless you took them yourself and agree to release them for free use. Repeated violations of Wikipedia's copyright policy may result in the loss of your editing privileges. Kafziel Complaint Department 03:47, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
