Thanks... I cannot win on Wikipedia, I get told off if I dont add a source, now Im being told off for adding a source? I appreciate that the Daily Mail is hardly the most reliable of sources and to some that is subjective, but if its the ONLY source - I assume you would suggest that I dont add? Seems odd to me that you would prefer no source at all? Not trying to be argumentative, but Im still new to this and its frustrating getting conflicting views. I also noticed that the Leigh Rayment's link is now out of date, sadly Leigh has died and his work has been transferred to www.maltagenealogy.com/LeighRayment - but maltagenealogy.com has been blocked on here, even though its the ONLY source. I can understand the frustration. There is a learning curve, it takes a while to get the hang of things.

No source is better than a bad source, yes. Because adding a bad source could give the wrong impression to both readers and other editors that the content is supported by a reliable source. If you can't find a reliable source for the content in question, it should be removed as it's very likely undue, i.e. not worth mentioning.

I'm sorry I also reverted some of the good work you did. As some text was moved around, the changes weren't easy to scan. You can avoid this happening by making changes in smaller chunks.

I've removed the link to Leigh Rayment's dead website.

Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry to sound weary, but whereas I appreciate your comments, I am SO disillusioned by some of your colleagues here on Wikipedia, they seem to act as "judge and jury" and this seems to be a "closed shop", and new people are treated with disdain and expected to be experts overnight. My IP address was blocked by someone for something I apparently did wrong, but I was blocked WITHOUT any advance notice or warning etc.. and I STILL do not know what I did. I am extremely frustrated, so I would be pleased if you can advise me how I can delete my account, as I will NOT be making any more changes or amendments.... it's simply not worth the effort, hassle or time. I don't understand why it's necessary to delete ALL of the changes I made, why not just delete the Daily Mail source? I truly am not trying to be argumentative, it just seems a complete waste of time. I will just read inaccurate, badly worded paragraphs and resist the temptation to correct errors.

Oh. That doesn't sound great. I had a look at other contributions you made from your account and it appears most of them haven't been touched?

The IP block seems to be an unlucky coincidence. Looks like there were a lot of disruptive editing happening on the range your IP was on so they blocked the whole range.
