Stephen King

[edit]

Hi. Regarding your recent edit, when an article has some citations, or even "plenty" of them, but not citations for all of the material that requires it, adding the refimprove tag/banner is appropriate. Had the tag been the {{unreferenced}}, that indeed would've been the wrong template to use, but if the article still needs citations, the proper thing to do would be to change it to the right one. In this case, it was indeed the right one. Removing it before such citations are added is not appropriate. Please do not do so again, unless you have a valid, policy-based rationale. Thanks. If you have any other questions, let me know. Nightscream (talk) 03:22, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Address of ENSCO

[edit]

Hi! I read this. No, the headquarters are not legally defined as being in "Falls Church, VA." You are merely looking at a United States Postal Service postal address which says "Falls Church, VA." If you look up your company's location on a map... it's in Fairfax County, not Falls Church. In Virginia cities are not in counties. It is not possible for ENSCO to be in Falls Church.

There have been many editors supposedly from the company that were surprised to learn that ENSCO is not actually in Falls Church. It is okay for the company to approximate "Falls Church, VA" on its marketing materials (and to use the USPS-designated address) - But on Wikipedia the company's real location is stated. The U.S. Census Bureau maps prove that ENSCO's HQ is in Annandale CDP, Virginia. WhisperToMe (talk) 05:15, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
