Republic of Mountainous Armenia[edit]

Hi, sorry for the intrusion here, but I saw you recently edited the Republic of Mountainous Armenia article, which I am translating to the Portuguese Wikipedia (pt:República da Armênia Montanhosa), and I was wondering if you could help me. Do you know what the exact meaning of the Armenian word Լեռնահայաստան is, and how to pronounce it? The English article does not clarify it.

Also, do you happen to know if the information contained in the article is reliable?

Hello. Meaning of the Armenian word Լեռնահայաստան is "Mounting Armenia" and it pronounced Lernahayastan.

Civility supervision (formerly known as civility parole). If you make any edits which are judged by an administrator to be uncivil, personal attacks, or assumptions of bad faith, then you may be blocked for a short time of up to one week for repeat offenses.

Enforcement: Violations of limitations, supervision, or bans imposed by the remedies in this case may be enforced by brief blocks of up to a week in the event of repeat violations. After 5 blocks the maximum block period shall increase to one year.

When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

History of the Caucasian Albanians[edit]

Hi. It isn't very clear to me why you nominate The History of the Country of Albania for speed deletion when it can be redirected to History of the Caucasian Albanians. Can you explain? --va c io 14:40, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The book name in English is "The History of the Country of Albania" and the History of the Caucasian Albanians article name should be called the same. I unable to rename the History of the Caucasian Albanians to The History of the Country of Albania because there is already a redirect. Therefore, in order to rename History of the Caucasian Albanians to The History of the Country of Albania we must first remove the redirect. --hayk (talk) 15:36, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
