Could you adopt me?
[edit]Hi Helikaon! Thanks for your request, but I’m still recovering from a very long break from wikipedia, so I’m not really looking to adopt at the moment. However, I know somebody who is fairly experienced with adoption, and whom I believe would be pleased to adopt you. I’ll pass on your message to him, and he should get back to you soon. It’s very hard to find articles to write that haven’t already been made, finalised, and scoured for grammar and spelling – but there are certain groups (called wikiprojects here) that target articles relating to a specific subject area. Also, if you are willing to learn a new topic in order to contribute, I’d recommend researching canoeing/ kayaking, and then joining the Kayaking wikiproject. This project is seriously undermanned and undersupported, so your help would be gratefully received. If you join this project, there will be no lack of things to do – which is a great way to acquaint with other editors! Also, I’ll call you now and then to help with a series of new articles that I intend to write! If you need anything, just leave me a message on my talk page, and I’ll get back to you. [edit]Hi Helikaon! I’m just doing my rounds through my adoptee-army, just catching up. If you have any problems, questions, AOB .etc., leave me a note on my talk page – I answer within a day usually.
