To add an image check out other galleries in WP. You need to save the image for yourself and then upload it into WP before placing it in the article in question. The image should be your own or in the public domain or it will be removed. I will try and find the help page on images and get back to you later. Peter morrell 08:35, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Finally, when you place the image it should be placed using format like this: Image:nameofimage.jpg under your gallery header, then it will appear in the article as an image. You can also control the size and position of the image on the page by following the formatting guidelines. Worth checking some image galleries or articles with images before doing all that.
