Gray card

[edit]

Thanks for the ref. Would you be so kind as to quote here the passage that supports the statement about feeling that a gray card is insuffient, so that I don't have to go buy the book to verify? I can't "search inside" this one on amazon or google books. Dicklyon 04:16, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As it happens, these pages are available from the publisher's web site. Follow the link in the reference and "view/download" the sample spread. I'm not quite sure what to extract as a short quote as the text is basically dealing with alternative targets in sequence, and lists a gray scale strip between the color checker and the gray card. Thanks; I'll try to use that to fix the weasel words "some photographers feel...". Dicklyon 16:35, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Prayerfeeder, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Prayerfeeder. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. --OnoremDil 12:55, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To avoid speedy deletion, you need to include reliable sources that verify the notability of the website. This is required even if it is a stub. I tried to find some information myself, and it didn't appear to me that the site would meet the notability guidelines, so I tagged it as a speedy candidate. --OnoremDil 15:24, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
