User talk:HooplifeBrand
Hello...
Not quite sure how to use wikipedia just yet, but thanks for your message. I'm not here to cause any trouble. However, upon searching the internet we came across this page and wanted to update the origins of the name "Hooplife" and it's positive association in the basketball community. "Hooplife" is a brand that was started in the early 2000's and was featured in national basketball magazines (DIME and SLAM). The brand has been in apparel shows, trade shows and currently has brand partners and licensees across the world. This page and the artist "lil B" uses / used the "Hooplife" name in a way that dilutes the brand image. The brand is still around today as noted at the website "www.hooplife.net" and "www.thehooplifebrand.com". We wanted to update this Wikipedia page to reflect and associate the "Hooplife" name and brand with it's rightful origins. Hooplife is a registered trademark and is a brand that still operates today. The reason for the update of this page is that when "Hooplife" is searched on the internet this page comes up and dilutes the brand image and is actual trademark infringement. The name of the album and the basketball themed songs share the same consumer channels (basketball related consumers) and causes confusion in the market place as people think that the current and original Hooplife trademarked brand is somehow associated, affiliate and/or endorses the album and songs created by Lil B using the "hooplife" name. This is why we want this page edited asap. Please allow us to do so as we are a credible brand simply trying to continue building a brand that we've owned since the early 2000's. We can be reached at hooplifeonline@yahoo.com or you can contact the owner, designer at design@stevenmagee.com. You may also check the uspot.gov website for references as to the trademarks that have been registered for over 10 years. Well before lil B created and infringed on the Hooplife trademarks.
We're not quite sure how to use wikipedia but feel free to contact us at the emails above. We're not sure how to respond to you but hope this reaches you as we would really like to edit the page to clean up our brand image.
Please advise and thank you for your message.
Sincerely, Hooplife®
