Speedy deletion of Furious Gamer Radio

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Furious Gamer Radio requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]

It's difficult to see what there is to discuss.

  • While Furious Gamer Radio is in it's early stages, it is intended suggests that it doesn't yet meet the notability guidelines.
  • It's written as an advertisement, and although it has references, they are not in-line, so it's not clear what independent verifiable sources are being used to support your claims
  • examples of unsourced spam
    • It's time for gaming to get the respect it deserves....so we can blow it up again and again. copying a spam quote is still spam.
    • with newly created programming to create a comprehensive outlet for audio content
    • Both the website and the iPhone application offer all of the shows above as well as some unique features: needs evidence that they really are unique
    • effort to bring a new types (sic) of programming to gaming radio.
  • Non-encyclopaedic eg you can pause on the phone and resume on the computer exactly where you left off.

Basically it's all puff, no criticisms, hostile reviews. There is nothing to stop you recreating, although obviously it will have to be rewritten to get through (assuming notability can be met) jimfbleak (talk) 08:17, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
