Hi Canucklehead,

I have had two recent, admittedly unsubtle, edits to the BBC News Wikipedia page removed, both referencing inherent propagandist tendencies in the BBC's news delivery. THese are tendencies that curtail broader understanding of national and international events and stories, whether that be under-reporting of some stories, keeping stories out of the headlines or bias that reflects government concerns over and above public interest at a time when the license fee is under question. I note that the RT News page has 'propaganda' against 'type'. Whilst I agree wholeheartedly with this, I would like some acknowledgement on the BBC News Wikipedia page that the BBC is not unbiased, that it does largely represent its paymasters and that it has an unwritten internal agenda implicitly set by the choices made by and about those who work within its framework.

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Starship Technologies. Dear Anaxial,

Objectivity is laudable in the service of wisdom and beneficence. In the service of destructive multintional corporations, it is dangerous. I appreciate that as a global encyclopedia, wikipedia must seek to remain objective. On the other hand, it perhaps needs to carry a selection of varying opinions concerning the subject matter contained within its 'pages'.

I am intrigued that in both instances of my castigation by wikieditors, neither use a name that gives any hint as to the person behind the comment. Anaxial, I suspect, is not your given name nor one used of you by those close to you. Similarly, I suspect that Canucklehead is not their given or social identifier. Objectivity used to mask the nature of the speaker. Hiding behind anonimity.
