See Wikipedia:Disambiguation for info. But basically if John Taylor exists then John Taylor (rock star), or John Taylor (1823-1901) use parens to distinguish the name. If no one person is way more notable than the others, then the name page will end up as a disambiguation page (a page that links to all the John Taylor's click on John Taylor to see an example. If one of the people is considerably more notable than the others, like Harry S. Have you listed all of this author's published works in the article? If there are more, we can create an actual bibliography, but there is not much point in doing so for only two books. Also, at what UCLA extension does he teach? It woudl be good to put that in the article. Thanks. ---Charles 21:10, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Published works in literary journals would take awhile to get together but can be done. There is only one UCLA Extension. Other UC campuses have extension programs, UCI for example. About formatting, there's some extra space before one of the parenthesis that I can't seem to figure out how to eliminate. Ibar88 16:21, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

• I listed the article because two of the sources were simply order forms and the third was not biographical to any extent. I was looking for at least one source that tells us about the person and perhaps a critical examination of some of his more important works by someone who is not trying to promote his books. The faculty job in itself doesn't make him notable, and that fact that his books have been reviewed somewhere does not mean they are notable. I can't tell from the article whether his books have sold 1,000,000 copies each or 50. Has he made the best-sellers lists or won literary prizes? Also, although it's not as much of an advert as first time around, more biographical material and a full bibliography would help. At present, I am not convinced of notability by the deleted text. Delink the book titles, which go to purchasing sites (definitely spammy), better to put them in the bibliography with ISBN numbers which people can click if they are interested in purchase. Have more references, doesn't have to be a best seller, but two reviews is a bit light. Is there an on-line biography to link to?

Try the above and see what happens. If it gets deleted again, let me know and we'll see what can be done. I'm not unsympathetic, and once the purchasing links are gone, at least that's one issue sorted. Jimfbleak 16:42, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
