Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your user subpage at User:Icarenow, and have deleted it as promotional, under Wikipedia's user page guideline.

Sorry. Dweller (talk) 22:49, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No worries -- just getting to know Wikipedia and your courtesy even while enforcing the spirit of Wikipedia is very much appreciated. Question: If I do have a term/definition that other professionals in my field can use, ( & they more than likely use Wikipedia) where/how should I post in Wikipedia?

Well, if it is a term that has significant mentions in reliable sources, it's probably notable. You might want to read this: Wikipedia:Your first article. If it's not notable, please don't create it - it'll just get deleted as a neologism. --Dweller (talk) 09:02, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
