Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, please see how to appeal a block.

Requested username:

Request reason:

Hello, first of all I would like to apologize for the misunderstanding. I do understand now the implications of my edits and how they seem not to meet with the rules of wikipedia. However, my intention was in no way to make promotion and I have not put irrelevent external links in articles just for the sake of it. My aim was just to share information about the international federation of spina bifida and hydrocephalus without falling into advertising or promotion. By the way I am a volonteer at the organization and I thought that it worths to have an article about it in wekipedia. I definetly have chosen a non-apropriate username but it was naîve from my part. Besides, I totally understand that the fact of putting the website in related subjects was not a good thing no matter what is the cause or the reasons and if I consider that any organization or company or person trying to do the same for their interst it will turn wikipedia into a promotional tool which is not the aim. I would like that you re-activate my account so I can make contributions (adding additional information or rectifying other information) to the wikipedia community about other articles . Meanwhile I would like you to unblock my article about the international federation of spina bifida and hydrocephalus so I can edit it in a way that falls with the rules and principles of wikipedia. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Unfortunately, your idea of "just to share information about the international federation of spina bifida and hydrocephalus" really amounts to using Wikipedia to publicise the organisation's work, which is promotion. Also, the draft article you wrote is totally promotional in character, so much so that if you sincerely didn't intend it that way then I can only assume that you are so closely involved in the organisation that you cannot stand back from it and see how your writing will look from an impartial outsider's point of view. That is, in fact, one of the main reasons why Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines discourages writing on a subject in which you have such an involvement. You may also like to look at Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause. If you wish to consider making another unblock request then I suggest first carefully rereading the instructions in the block notice above, particularly the section beginning "You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization". Hello Ifglobal. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF).

If you no longer want this submission, it will shortly be deleted. However, if you wish to keep it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will place the undeleted submission in your user space.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. j⚛e deckertalk 14:28, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
