Torrotito of the Armada[edit]

Hi Ignacio, first congratulate you for the fantastic work you are doing with the coat of arms and flags in many of the articles in which I am related. Well Done.

I would like to point you, that in last edition of the torrotito, you made a version which, to me, is not fully correct. I explain myself. I quote the Real Decreto 1511/1977, Título I, Regla 6. Reglamento de Banderas y Estandartes, Guiones, Insignias y Distintivos:

It is a square flag (ratio 1:1) composed of 4 quarters:

First quarter, for Castile: Gules, a tower Or, masoned sable and ajouré azure;
Second quarter, for León: Argent, a lion rampant red (differing from the one on the national flag) crowned Or, langued and armed red;
Third quarter, for Aragon: Or, four pallets gules;
Fourth quarter, for Navarre: Gules, a cross, saltire and orle of chains linked together Or, a centre point vert;

This means both the tongue and nails have to be red instead than gold, as you painted them.

It is just a minor and "tiquismiquis" point ;) , but as you are the one painting them, I thought it won't take you long to make the change.

jejeje, en la lengua de Cervantes pues... La duda venía en mi caso, porque tengo un libro llamado "Banderas de España" de José Luis Calvo Perez y Luis Grávalos González ([1]), el cual tenía hasta el día de hoy como la biblia vexilologica, y en donde el torrotito aparece con lengua y uñas de gules y la corona de oro (en su versión de 1945, eso si). Como dices, te controlaré, pero tu tampoco te cortes un pelo en recriminarmelo... ;)

Estoy reuniendo información para crear el artículo de Duchy of Montblanc, que como sabrás es bastante importante en la historia monárquica española, pues es uno de los 3 que indican el heredero al reino de aragón, y por la tanto, uno de los títulos del príncipe. te dejo aqui el link al escudo.

Escudo de Juan Carlos I como rey de Galicia[edit]

Ignacio, cotilleando por internet, he encontrado esta página, donde, en la 5ª foto, se utiliza un escudo real de España en el que se ha añadido un cuartel con el escudo de Galicia explicando que es el que usa el Rey como "Rey de Galicia": "Pola súa singularidade, hai que facer mención dun escudo real gravado en pedra procedente dunha casa desaparecida da Praza de San Fernando na cidade de Tui, blasón que hoxe se conserva nun lateral do claustro daquela Catedral. Data dos comezos do século XVIII. Trae o escudo incorporadas no seu centro, en lugar preferente, as armas propias do Reino de Galicia: un cáliz sumado de hostia, coroa e cruz en xefe. Debido a este uso histórico, tamén no escudo real de España hoxe vixente debe ser incorporado, centrando o campo, o blasón de Galicia en calquera acto oficial no que se exhiba". Desconocía esta práctica y he de admitir que me suena muy muy raro pero como tú estás muy ducho en estos lares, quería pedirte confirmación sobre esto. Si, estamos de acuerdo que la principal es la bandera civil, pero creo que se debe estrictamente a que los escudos están condenados a irse modificando cada ciertos años (cambios de regimen, de casas reales etc etc...). En lo que no estoy de acuerdo es la modificación de la fecha de ¿1785 era?... No creo que la bandera civil se pueda considerar como adoptada en 1978... Si, en la constitución se la proclama, pero no deja de ser la misma bandera civil de cuando Franco, Alfonso XIII, Isabel II o de carlos III. Me inclinaría más bien por incluír una solución parecida a la de Flag of the United States. Enhorabuena Ignacio, y de nada. Ya has conseguido que la Wikipedia inglesa sea única en el mundo al poner la bandera civil en el artículo de España. Ya veo que en la Wiki Española no tuviste tanta suerte, porque allí saben de qué hablan. Supongo que la reversión llegará en breve, mucha gente vigila el artículo de España. Entiendo que la versión civil te parezca más neutral, justa y... plana. Pero realmente, en la enciclopedia se debería usar la versión más formal, oficial y de estado, y lo sabes perfectamente. No soy monárquico ni facha ni pepero ni nada que se le parezca, pero entiendo que la versión correcta de la bandera en el artículo de España debería ser la del escudo, al igual que entienden en TODOS los proyectos de Wikipedia y han entendido todos los usuarios hasta la fecha. Sobre el ultimo comentario... los temas sobre la justicia, equidad y conveniencia de la bandera civil no los he traido yo a colación, PERDONA, CONFUNDI EL COMENTARIO DE ARRIBA DE MAURICE CON TU PROPIA OPINION acerca de que bandera civil era mas adecuada históricamente. Entiendo que tus motivaciones no tienen que ver con política ni nada parecido.

Pero no me has respondido a una cosa... siendo usuario como eres de la Wiki española... por qué no ir allí y empezar por casa? malas experiencias pasadas? veo que si... el artículo es:Bandera de España dice cosas según tú terriblemente incorrectas. No es muy buena idea "contraatacar" en la Wiki inglesa, los argumentos vertidos en la española me parecen igual de válidos aquí.

Ignacio, ante todo disculpa mi tardanza en responderte, pero he estado líado estos días. La verdad es que la grandísima mayoría de los cambios que estás introduciendo son a mejor. Tira para adelante, que el artículo se está viendo beneficiado. Solo recordarte lo que me dijo este familiar asegurando que la bandera oficial de todas todas es la del escudo. No sé si tiene constancia de algún dictado, ley o lo que sea, que estemos omitiendo. De momento dejalo así y cuanto reciba esa información, la comparto con vosotros. ok? Ignacio, en otro orden de cosas, necesito pedirte un inmenso favor. Durante años he intentado hacerme un cuadrito con los cuatro apellidos de mi familia, pero como dos de ellos son franceses, no los he podido encontrar aqui en españa. Si te hago llegar los cuatro dibujitos que he podido encontrar en internet (de bastante baja calidad), te currarías un escudito cuartelado de esos tan chulos que haces tu para poder llevarlo a una tienda y que me lo puedan enmarcar?.
