The appearance of promotional edits[edit]

Please do not add images to articles when the use of that image is likely to be perceived at promotional without discussing it first. See WP:NOTPROMO and Talk:Turbomolecular pump#Use of images that appear to be for promotional purposes. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:34, 22 October 2015 (UTC) Hello davidwr, thanks, got your message and in the future will discuss the adding of images prior to their publication. I have seen your comments with regards to an image on this very page that contains the brand name of a turbomolecular pump manufacturer. We need to be consistent with the Wikipedia fair standards, equal for all, therefore I would highly support you in removing the image as the brand name is perfectly visible on the photo and is for sure perceived as promotional.
