[edit]

A Wikipedia user page is for someone who is active in working for the project to give a little information about themself in connection with their work for the encyclopaedia: it is not a place to post any other kind of material. Also, please note that posting links to attract readers to your web site is unacceptable, as it violates Wikpolicy against use of Wfor promotion. JBW (talk) 22:50, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bruce1ee. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to News have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. —Bruce1eetalk 23:18, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Tech. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —Bruce1eetalk 23:36, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. JBW (talk) 12:17, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
