When writing an article on Wikipedia, please make sure that the subjects are notable and that they can be understood by any reader. And please don't tag articles as being semi-protected, when they are not. AecisBrievenbus 13:06, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

September 2007

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Illustrious Devrukhe - Freedom Fighters, National Leaders, Politicians. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Bmg916Speak 14:16, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages such as Illustrious Devrukhe - Arts such as Drama, Film, television, Photography. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Please read WP:NOT. NawlinWiki 14:18, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No more Devrukhe lists

[edit]

The problem with pages like Illustrious Devrukhe - Writer, Journalist, Content Writer is that they are long lists of people, many of whom do not meet Wikipedia's standards for notability, listed without reliable independent sources. Also, the determination of who is "illustrious" is inherently subjective, in violation of WP:NPOV. Please stop posting these lists. NawlinWiki 14:25, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page such as Famous personalities in Devrukhe, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Same problems as the others. NawlinWiki 15:31, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome

[edit]

Hello Innsys, and welcome to Wikipedia. If you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, please read our help pages and our manual of style. Instead of writing many loosely related articles about one subject, it is often better to write one large and comprehensive article. If you have any questions, or if you need help, please leave me a message on my talk page. Yours, AecisBrievenbus 14:49, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An article you created maybe deleted soon: Tools which can help you

[edit]

The article you created, Devrukhe_Brahmins_-_List_of_Institutions_founded_by_Devrukhes maybe deleted from Wikipedia.

There is an ongoing debate about whether your article should be deleted here:

The faster your respond, the better chance the article you created can be saved. This is because deletion debates only stay open for a few days, and the first comments are usually the most important.

There are several tools and other editors who can help you keep the page from being deleted forever:

  1. You can list the page up for deletion on Article Rescue Squadron. If you need help listing your page, add a comment on the Article Rescue Squadron talk page.
  2. You can request a mentor to help explain to you all of the complex rules that editors use to get a page deleted, here: Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User. But don't wait for a mentor to respond on the deletion page.
  3. When try to delete a page, veteran editors love to use a lot of rule acronyms. Don't let these acronyms intimidate you.
Here is a list of your own acronyms you can use yourself: WP:Deletion debate acronyms which may support the page you created being kept.
Acronyms in deletion debates are sometimes incorrectly used, or ignore rules or exceptions.
  4. You can merge the article into a larger or better established article on the same topic.

If your page is deleted, you still have many options available. Good luck! travb (talk) 21:49, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Devrukhe Brahmins - Kuladaiwatas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. §hawnpoo 06:42, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
