Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The Troubles, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Propaganda?

[edit]

Please see this difference in the edit history of "The troubles" article.

  1. (cur) (last) 19:08, December 22, 2007 Ireland4ever (Talk | contribs) (92,271 bytes) (undo)
  2. (cur) (last) 02:37, December 22, 2007 Sarah777 (Talk | contribs) (92,260 bytes) (rem weasel word from caption) (undo)

Note that "propaganda" is a weasel word; you reinserted it without any comment; which is a breach of edit policy. Your edit could be interpreted as Edit warring which is even worse than using weasel words. Please don't revert my latest edit without discussion. The Troubles

[edit]

Stop messing with the infobox, the issue is under discussion on the talkpage, so don't make changes unless agreement is reached their first.--Padraig (talk) 18:35, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Padraig is quite right here - this is a contentious article, so please discuss your changes on the talk page first - Alison 23:37, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No, he isn't right. The box was added without consensus and the status quo should be "no box". Sarah777 (talk) 00:19, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
